Rolling

Cylinders • Cones • Arcs • Rings

Consistent Radii, Clean Seams, Assembly-Ready

We roll sheet, plate, and profiles into precise cylinders, cones, arcs, and rings. Edges are prepared for welding, seams align cleanly, and parts fit downstream fixtures with minimal rework.

  • Plate & sheet rolling for cylinders, cones, and segments
  • Section rolling for angle, flat bar, and tube (material-dependent)

Precision Radii

Uniform curvature across the length for easy fit-up.

Weld-Ready Edges

Bevels, gaps, and seams prepared to spec for faster welds.

Fast Turnaround

Streamlined programming and setup keep jobs moving.

How Rolling Works

Plate and section rolling use opposing powered rolls to progressively form material to a target radius. By adjusting roll positions and feed, we achieve consistent curvature and controlled springback.

  • • Pre-bending reduces flat spots at the seam
  • • Incremental passes dial in the final radius
  • • Templates and gauges verify curvature

What We Roll

We roll components for tanks, guards, conveyors, and architectural features. Send your drawings and we’ll confirm feasibility and best process.

  • • Cylinders, cones, segments, and rings
  • • Section rolling: angle leg-in/leg-out, flat bar hard/ easy way, tube & pipe
  • • Mild steel, stainless, and aluminum (material-dependent)

FAQ

What information should I include for a rolling quote?
Material grade, thickness, flat size (or developed length), finished radius/diameter, seam type, and quantity. Drawings (STEP/DXF/PDF) help us respond faster.
How do you handle springback?
We compensate during passes and verify with templates/gauges. Final dimensions are confirmed before fit-up.
Can you prep edges for welding?
Yes — we can bevel, leave specified gaps, and align seams for MIG/TIG with consistent root opening.
What are your maximum sizes?
Capacity depends on material, thickness, width, and radius. Share your spec and we’ll confirm limits with your quote.

Need cylinders, cones, or arcs?

Send your drawings and we’ll confirm feasibility, price, and lead time.
